Advice and consultation
Successful treatment begins with good advice
In a personal consultation in our plastic and aesthetic practice near Berlin’s Gendarmenmarkt, we first discuss the reason for your visit and your wishes and ideas. We will then talk about the treatment options that we think are suitable for you. We will describe the possible course of treatment in detail and show you case studies if necessary. If, after this consultation, you decide to have a treatment in our plastic and aesthetic practice, we will draw up a treatment plan together with you and examine you thoroughly.
Since surgical treatment entails risks as well as many opportunities, it is particularly important to us to inform you openly and comprehensively about both. In addition, we talk about any necessary anesthesia, the subsequent healing process as well as costs and billing options. If you have any further questions, we will be happy to answer them. Of course, you can also arrange another consultation appointment at any time. Decision-making is often a process in which we are happy to accompany you.
We would like to politely point out that we charge a fee of €70.00 for aesthetic consultations.
Counselling and supervision
Personal supervision from the outset
An operation is often associated with fear and may cause anxiety about the possible consequences. So it’s all too understandable that you want individual supervision and a personal relationship with the doctor who’ll be treating you.
From day one, we want to give you the attention you need for your concerns and discuss issues that you consider important with you. It is important to us that you feel well looked after in our hands and in our plastic and aesthetic practice and that you feel comfortable at all times.
Insurance
Insurance is there to protect against any damage that may occur
The operations we perform normally involve very little risk. However, in spite of the greatest care, they do carry health risks, just like any other operation, and these may entail costs. With the amendment of the Healthcare Reform Act (GRG) from the year 2007, patients have to bear the costs of after-treatment for an aesthetic operation which was not medically indicated and not in the catalogue of benefits provided by the statutory health insurance companies.
Financing
Some services will be covered by the health insurance provider.
But in medicine there are (alternative) methods of treatment and therapy, the costs of which are considered not to be medically necessary by the health insurance provider, for which reason they are not covered. These so-called non-contractual benefits must be borne in part by the patient him or herself.
Products
High-quality branded products help to ensure the success of treatment and cure
In aftercare following aesthetic treatment above all, medical and cosmetic branded products make good sense and are extremely helpful. They are often gentler than cheap no-name products, and in most cases they support and speed up the healing process better as well.
