Advice and consultation
Successful treatment begins with good advice
In a personal consultation at our Plastic Aesthetic Practice near Berlin’s Gendarmenmarkt, we will first discuss the reason for your visit as well as your wishes and expectations. We will then talk about the treatment options that we consider suitable for you. This includes a detailed explanation of the possible treatment process and, if applicable, case examples. Should you decide on a treatment at our Plastic Aesthetic Practice after this consultation, we will create a treatment plan together with you and conduct a thorough examination.
Since surgical treatments involve not only many opportunities but also risks, it is particularly important to us to inform you openly and comprehensively about both. In addition, we will discuss any necessary anesthesia, the subsequent healing process, as well as costs and payment options. If you have further questions, we will be happy to answer them. Of course, you may also schedule another consultation appointment at any time. The decision-making process often takes time, and we are happy to support you along the way.
We would like to kindly point out that we charge a fee of €70.00 for aesthetic consultations.
Counselling and supervision
Personal supervision from the outset
A surgical procedure is often associated with fears and may cause uncertainty about possible outcomes. It is therefore entirely understandable that you wish for individual care and a personal relationship with your treating physician.
From day one, we want to give you the attention you need for your concerns and discuss any questions that are important to you. It is important to us that you feel well cared for and comfortable at all times in our Plastic Aesthetic Practice.
Insurance
Insurance is there to protect against any damage that may occur
Insurance helps prevent potential financial loss. The procedures we perform are generally low-risk. However, despite the greatest care, there are – as with any other surgery – health risks that may result in additional costs. With the amendment of the Health Reform Act in 2007, patients are required to bear the costs of follow-up treatment themselves in the case of an aesthetic surgery that is not medically indicated and therefore not covered by statutory health insurance.

Financing
Some services will be covered by the health insurance provider.
But in medicine there are (alternative) methods of treatment and therapy, the costs of which are considered not to be medically necessary by the health insurance provider, for which reason they are not covered. These so-called non-contractual benefits must be borne in part by the patient him or herself.

High-quality branded products help to ensure the success of treatment and cure
In aftercare following aesthetic treatment above all, medical and cosmetic branded products make good sense and are extremely helpful. They are often gentler than cheap no-name products, and in most cases they support and speed up the healing process better as well.
